The Savings Banks Museum is located in the village of Ruthwell, Dumfries & Galloway in south west Scotland.

Ruthwell is ten miles from Dumfries and six miles from Annan - please find text directions and map below:

Text Directions:
From Carlisle, take the M6 North and then the A74 to Gretna. Follow the A75 to Annan then the B724 to Ruthwell.

From Dumfries, take the A75 towards Annan and take the B724 turn off to Clarencefield & Ruthwell.

Opening hours are:
APRIL - SEPTEMBER
Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 4pm
OCTOBER - MARCH
Thursday to Saturday, 10am to 4pm
